How to read the controls
Names refer to the original Aurora panel. Shift + control means hold Shift while using that control. CCW / CW mean counterclockwise / clockwise. Selector colors are not the firmware’s running LED colors.
Stereo tape-style processing. Common controls:
Knobs and CV
| Panel knob / CV | Function |
|---|---|
| Warp | Smooth pitch ±12 semitones; CV 1 V/oct |
| Time | Delay 1 ms–2 s in 0.2/0.3; unused in 0.1 |
| Blur | Flutter depth |
| Reflect | Wow rate, 0.1–2 Hz |
| Mix | Dry/wet |
| Atmosphere | Tone darkening, saturation and feedback in 0.3; unused in 0.1/0.2 |
Buttons, gates and lights
Freeze toggles a roughly 1.5-second tape stop/start; Freeze gate forces stop while
high. A stopped wet signal becomes silent. Fully dry Mix temporarily becomes wet
during stopping/starting. Reverse, its gate and Shift are unused. Active CVs add
to their knobs and clamp. Arc LEDs indicate pitch: amber up, cyan down; Freeze
red follows braking, with white flashes at the dry-Mix boundary.
Version differences
| Version / selector color | Difference |
|---|---|
| 0.1.0 / Orange | Pitch, braking, wow/flutter only |
| 0.2.0 / Violet | Adds delay with fixed feedback |
| 0.3.0 / Yellow | Adds Atmosphere coloration/feedback |
